The gals at Georgie Beauty sent us a awesome goodie bag of luxury lashness to giveaway to one of our lucky readers! I wish I could hoard this goodness for myself and stay well lashed past Valentines Day but I am super excited to share four of their most popular sets with you, their amazing glue, and a lash case so you can keep your pretty babies tucked away safely for multiple wears. I adore the cleverness of this whole situation, truly I do. Oh, and they’ve made a lovely little chart to make lash application easy-peasy for us because God knows it’s an ongoing struggle and just maybe it’s one of our New Years resolutions to get lash application down pat.

a few years ago i was out with some friends and attempted to put lashes on. I gave them clear instructions to let me know if my lashes were coming off. While we were out, I did a lash check a few hours into the evening in the hallway of the event and asked one of my friends (who I will not OUT) on this post (LOL)…said they were fine. On my way home, i looked in the mirror and sad to say my lash was completely half way sticking out (I still can’t fathom how I didn’t see it through the corner of my eye, lol). I laughed so hard since I realized that all the looks I was getting all night definitely was not because I was pretty. hahaha!
Hope I win to try this new brand and I’ll remember not to ask my friend again. ha ha!

The first time I wore lashes was for Hallowneen in college. The dorm lighting was awful and I kept putting more and more glue on to hold the glittery lashes in place. I could barely see all night, but thought it looked great…..hahah to be 21!! I look back at pictures now almost 8 years later and realize I looked like a maniac! I have come to learn that false lashes when applied correctly can be light, enchanting, and beautiful if done correctly. I would love to win these lashes to try them out for my wedding day!

I love fake eyelashes! The first time I ever wore them was at my wedding and now I have started wearing them to any special occasion. I have never tried Winks before but am crossing my fingers that I win them! Thanks for the giveaway!

Believe me, I need the practice with faux lashes. Whether it’s too much glue, not enough, or a mid-night slip up, I usually tend to make a fool of myself lash-wise. Like the time my best friend pointed at and laughed at my face because one was hanging off… or that my eyes are half closed in all photos of me with faux lashes because of all the glue!
